A chance to positively influence our community through the martial arts was one of the inspirations of Black Belt For Life Studios during its creation.  Many of our students think of BBFLS as their second home.  A home that provides a safe and friendly environment.  We aim to ensure our students gain life skills that will influence them in their future goals which is a definite plus for our community.

BBFLS has participated in yearly career weeks and food drives.  Has provided martial arts scholarships and has presented and assisted for the Special Olympics held at Miami Dade College yearly.  BBFLS considers being a part of this community a privilege and will continue its community service!

Please contact us if you would like us to be a part of your community event.  BBFLS is also available for demonstrations!!!

CAREER WEEK PRESENTATION 2008
BBFLS had the privilege to present at Manuel Barrero elementary career week for the second year in a row.  We had a great time with the students and teachers.  We spoke about goal setting, determination to those goals, and discipline to attain goals.  Kids specially enjoyed our karate video and short demo with our weapons!  Thanks and see you guys next year.

CAREER WEEK PRESENTATION 2010
Once again, BBFLS gets together with our community public schools to educate the youth in career choices.  We had a great time this year and hope to continue year after year.  Our inspiration is to help guide our youth for future leadership.  We are fortunate to accomplish this through the Martial Arts.

BOWMAN FOSTER ASHE ELEMENTARY
100% ATTENDANCE PEP RALLY DEMO 2010
BBFLS performs for students that had never missed a day of school in the whole year. We spoke about Martial Arts, goal setting, over coming fear, and staying focused on our goals.  This demo was fun and the kids where definitely pumped.  We where surprized to see many of our students in the pep rally.  Keep up the great work!

KID SAFE SEMINAR 2010
On February 6, 2010, we held a safety seminar for our students and the community.  Officer Castro from the Miami Dade police department attended as a guest speaker.  She was amazing and spoke important topics, tips, and strategies on safety to our kids and parents.  BBFLS thanks her and appreciates the help in educating our students, and parents on safety.  Everybody had a fun and educating experience.  The kids especially liked our stranger and bully drills because they got to beat up on the parents! : ) We look forward to the next one!
